Akita, c7x0, simpad, spitz and tosa kernel 2.6.24 images available from the angstrom stable branch
Posted March 7th, 2008 by koenIf you want to help out your machine mentors by testing kernel 2.6.24 for akita, c7x0, simpad, spitz or tosa, grab a 2007.12-r9 image from the autobuild area, install it and tell us all about it.
Zaurus users should download the 'installkit' tarballs and will find the updater.sh, zImage.bin and rootfs file ready for flashing inside, the simpad users will need the jffs2 file and flash it according to the instructions on opensimpad.org.
happy testing!

zaurus c7x0/c8x0
Posted March 27th, 2006 by koen1) Download the Angstrom installkit tarball from the download location.
2) Untar it and copy the 3 files inside the directory to the root directory of your CF card
The steps to flash the are:
1) Ensure that your C7×0 machine has a standard flash partitioning (e.g. as it was originally), flashing may fail if this is not the case
2) Unplug AC power jack.
3) Turn the zaurus over and flip the battery case switch to "Unlocked". Remove the battery cover and remove the battery - there is no HW reset button that I’m aware of.
